Viva Mexico!

I spent the past 5 days in Playa del Carmen, Mexico! It was a lovely trip surrounded by beautiful scenery and friendly faces. It felt great to escape the Seattle rain and soak up some sun! I haven’t gotten any of my film processed yet, but hereย are some of the polaroids I snapped and shell friends I found.

Denny Creek

Today we hiked the Denny Creek Trail up to Keekwulee Falls. The trail runs through the forest, under the interstate, past the Denny Creek natural water slides and eventually to the falls. We didn’t go on any of the slides, but the sights were great! Here’s a few phone snaps from the day.

Merry in Montana!

The past, almost a full, week was spent road tripping to Bozeman Montana. I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in my friend’s Hannah and Zack’s wedding. On our way there we camped in Steamboat Rock State Park in eastern Washington. While in Bozeman we stayed plenty busy with wedding activities, there was a lot to celebrate! On our way back we stayed in Coeur d’Alene Idaho. We were surrounded by beauty the whole trip! So of course I’m going to share some polaroids from our journey.

Look Out Disney!

‘Cause I’ve found the most magical place on Earth! But don’t worry, you’re a close second! Scott and I attempted to snatch up quite possibly the best camping spot in all of Washington this weekend and I’m happy to say we were successful! This camp site sits on the top of a mountain with a breathtaking view of Mt. Rainier and its valley bellow. It’s quite secluded, however we had a handful of wishful would-be campers telling us how lucky we were! I agreed, so I thought I would shareย some polaroids that just can’t quite do it justice…

Camp Birthday!

For my birthday this year, we headed out to Mountain Loop Highway for a groovy get away! With great friends, balloons, bubbles and glow sticks, it’s hard not to have a good time! I thought I would share just a handful of photos taken over the weekend.

LM Builders: We build little homes for little friends. Or maybe just because we’re bored… Scott and I went camping this past weekend to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather we’ve been having. Our friends Mike and Lizzy came to join. Lizzy started this little house with a base of tiny sticks and from there it really took off. Some fine craftsmanship, if I do say so myself.

Another trip in Polaroids…

Whew! Well another busy holiday season has passed before our eyes! This year, Christmas was spent on the road. Scott and I made a trip down the 101 with our end destination in Eureka, CA. Where we spent 3 days frolicking in the Redwoods, what magical trees!

The Magic of Mountain Loop Highway!

Homecoming season is upon us, meaning I’ll be working quite a few weekends in my future. I chose to spend my last free weekend surrounded by trees. We drove up Mountain Loop Highway and camped along the South Fork Sauk River. The water was bright aqua marine and full of rainbow trout. As we explored the area we stumbled upon North Fork Falls, an enchanting waterfall nestled down in an overgrown wonderland. These polaroids will never do justice, but worth sharing none the less. Oh Washington you never let me down…

Labor Day Weekend.

We headed out to Brown’s Creek for the long weekend. Although we saw a lot of rain, we still had a lot of fun. Here are just a handful of shots from when the skies decided to dry up…
