It’s that time of year again when the weather turns gloomy and the rain keeps falling. So here’s a new self-portrait to celebrate!
Here it is, my 30th Birthday!
So every time I get my hair done my boss momma stylist asks me to take a self portrait. Now I don’t have the most perfect track record for following through on that. But this time I think I did her proud. Thanks Kurstin and K Squared Hair for always making me look fab!
Although, it’s been a pretty dark and rainy start to Spring here in Seattle, things are starting to come alive! I sure do love this tree in my front yard!
I’ve been trying to really up my photoshop game lately and do more things in post then I normally would. So may I present to you “eyeeye”…
P.S. I totally drew the eye way back when!
I lost my Grandmother in November and I’ve missed her everyday. I know for a fact that I wouldn’t be who I am today without her influence. She was a quiet woman but when she had something to say her voice rang out. I like to think, that like her, we express ourselves through our wardrobe. Her aesthetic for dress and design truly passed on to me. There is really no color too bright, no such thing as too much kitsch and when in doubt, floral everything! In this set of images I’m wearing some of her favorite dresses, she really was one of a kind!
I love you Grandma!
Politics, am I right!?
Tomorrow is Scott’s Birthday, so last night we stayed at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, just for fun and to feel fancy. We watched cable TV and drank champagne in our king sized bed! Before we left I took a couple portraits on my phone.
