It’s that time of year again when the weather turns gloomy and the rain keeps falling. So here’s a new self-portrait to celebrate!

♥︎In Grandma’s Dresses♥︎

I lost my Grandmother in November and I’ve missed her everyday. I know for a fact that I wouldn’t be who I am today without her influence. She was a quiet woman but when she had something to say her voice rang out. I like to think, that like her, we express ourselves through our wardrobe. Her aesthetic for dress and design truly passed on to me. There is really no color too bright, no such thing as too much kitsch and when in doubt, floral everything! In this set of images I’m wearing some of her favorite dresses, she really was one of a kind!

I love you Grandma!

Things that go bump in the night.

Now I normally enjoy the rare moments when I have the apartment to myself, but this past weekend was an exception. I woke up Friday night to the sound of someone trying to get into my apartment. Although it was quite terrifying, I found inspiration after things were safe and sound.
